1st Ottoman Aircraft Company

Beitragvon stevebecker » So 3. Jan 2021, 01:37

Mates,

I notice the fliegers in this the first raised Ottoman Air Company are a bit short on names. There were around 17 Ottoman Air Companies raised an many Germans filled a number of appointments in these.

These are the known Germans who I found served in the 1st Air Company (Tayyare Boluk) in Turkish between 1915 to 1918

This company remained at the Dardenelles for all the war, one of a number of Companies that protected the City of Istanbul and the Fleet bases

Rank is shown like Lt (Capt) which shows his German rank and Ottoman rank (brackets) which was always one higher then the German Rank. any other problems let me know

Corrections or additions are welcome
