You maybe aware of these men shown as civilians when sent to Turkey 1915.

I did wonder if they were German officers who like many (Serno), had to resign then relist into the Ottoman forces?

These are the men I found, I am sorry many have limited details on them, the ranks are as shown, but maybe there Ottoman rank, if you can help add please do?
